You would be surprised how it it vanishes your blemishes. □ Just apply it on your blemishes and then apply foundation (preferably mineral). You may use painterly to cover your blemishes as well. The product is good enough to last you good 6-7 months if you use it every single day.I apply it with my ring finger but you may also use a synthetic brush for it.I even apply it on my lower lash line when I am doing a smokey look.I am good to go without any worry of my liner running or shadow fading. I apply painterly all over my lid, then I give a wash of soft brown colour from Maybelline Chai Latte Quad all over the lids and then apply a waterproof liner and mascara. Even during these harsh summer months when my lids tend to get a little oily, it is showing an excellent performance.Paint Pot is a cream based product and it dries out to a beautiful matte finish within seconds of applying it. ![]() Even if you have oily lids, MAC Paint pots work as an excellent primer for your eye shadows. My eye shadows last long for the entire day when applied on top of painterly. It does not crease and it does not cake. The colours come out more intense with painterly as a base. It makes an excellent primer for your eye shadows. It is creamy and slides on your lids easily.Painterly is just my go-to when it comes to eyeshadow primers. What I love about MAC Painterly Paint Pot: It helps to stop my eyeshadows creasing and is one of the few products that can do that so thats an A+ in my book. I find Painterly amazing as an eyeshadow primer, it helps to keep colours true to what they are in the pan and it makes them more vibrant. I don't usually wear Painterly alone like I would with Bare Study but if I am in a rush it works wonders to help conceal and cover the veins on my eyelids. Painterly is a classic nude beige that has a matte finish. It covered any veins on my veins with only the thinnest layer, and I will definately be using again. I found that it made eyeshadow application a lot easier, and helped to enhance the overall look of my eyeshadow. Moving on to Painterly, this cream eyeshadow in my eyes is quite a bit different to Bare Study. I’ve only used this a couple of times but so far I love it. I myself tend to have oily eyelids so I can sometimes struggle to keep creamy products in place for a long period of time, now with Bare Study I do have apply an eyelid primer before use (Elf eyelid primer/Too Faced Shadow Insurance work a treat) to make sure that it doesn't crease on me, that would be the only downside to this product in my eyes. It reflects light beautifully and is definitely one of those products that is perfect if you are in a rush and don't want to go out with completely nothing on your eyes. Lets start with Bare Study it is such a gorgeous golden beige champagne colour. ![]()
